Kirkland to be released

Highly regarded unbeaten junior middleweight contender James Kirkland (25-0, 22 KOs) is set to be released from prison on September 17th. Co-manager Michael Miller told the San Antonio Express-News that Kirkland will initially be in a halfway house in Austin. Fights are already in the works for November 6 and December 4....
